Let's discover what is Ronda
Ronda is a cards game, where we use a deck of 40 cards of 4 colors (Gold, Sword, Copass and Matrag). There are cards numbered from 1 to 7, and three other cards: the Jack (10), the Horseman (11) and the King (12). Note that 8 and 9 are "missing". The game is played by two or four players, constituting in the case of 4 players 2 teams that play together and whose players are seated one in front of the other.
The objective is to collect as many cards as possible to score the most points. The game is won when a team totals 41 points.
In beginning of the game a dealer is chosen randomly (player with letter 'D'). he distributes counterclockwise (from right to left) four cards per person. We play in turn, starting with the person to the right of the dealer. When all the cards have been played, the dealer distributes again four cards per person (in 4-person game he distributes only three cards, he distributes 4 cards only in the beginning of his deck), this until exhaustion of the deck.
We can win cards by forming a pair with a card placed on the table, we pocket this pair as well as the upper cards which make a serie. Example: we have 1,2,5 in hand and 5,6,7,10,12 on the table; we cover the 5 with its 5, and we win 5,5,6,7,10.
If we cannot form a pair, we are forced to throw a card on the table. We can end up with a number of cards on the table varying between 0 and 9.
When the deck is exhausted and no team reached 41 points, a new dealer will start a new deck, the new dealer is the player to the right of the current dealer and we keep playing like that until a team reaches 41 points.
